The vibe of NABFEME in Memphis rests in the middle of a new development with a new level of leadership and empowerment.  Well vested in the organization and its mission, veteran entertainer and former Stax backup vocalist, Lavestia Gaston-Harper has taken the reins of management and leads the NABFEME women's empowerment charge in the Bluff City.

By day Lavestia runs her own business… a Tax preparation service. However, this Queen's voice has performed and toured with J BLackfoot, Al Green and many others for years.  Most recently, Lavestia was the front woman for the Eye-2-Eye Band, a local group in Memphis that does corporate functions, weddings and more.
